I had seen enough serpentine or aventurine being sold as jade facial rollers from big companies (Sephora - Aventurine Nordstrom - Serpentine), so we decided to make our own. Jade is famous for absorbing temperature well, which is why it usually feels cool to the touch, but beware of keeping it out of direct sunlight or it will get hot to the touch.
